Chip Allee, Chief Executive Officer
Chip Allee is the founder of CeuticalSoft, a company dedicated to the design and development of expert data analysis applications for the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Allee has twenty years of experience with scientific programming and an extensive background in drug discovery research. Prior to forming CeuticalSoft Mr. Allee founded and operated MLR Automation, a company that provided software and consulting services to pre-clinical drug discovery laboratories worldwide. When MLR Automation was acquired by Oxford Molecular, he assumed the role of Director of Microplate Applications. Over the years with CeuticalSoft, MLR and Oxford Molecular, Mr. Allee has designed, built and deployed data analysis systems for many biotech and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Mr. Allee’s experience with drug discovery research began at Genentech where he developed assays, robotics and database systems for high throughput screening as well as numerous projects in an FDA regulated environment. After Genentech Mr. Allee joined the start-up team for Parnassus Pharmaceuticals. At Parnassus he helped establish and maintain optimized assays, robotics, compound libraries, database applications and computational chemistry capabilities. Mr. Allee earned his BS degree in Electronic Engineering from California State University, Fresno.
Jeff Moore, Chief Technical Officer
Jeff Moore is the Chief Technical Officer at CeuticalSoft. He is responsible for technology guidance and strategy with regard to product development and pharmaceutical systems integration. Prior to joining CeuticalSoft, Mr. Moore was the Global Area Head of Scientific Information Integration at Roche. His duties included: global responsibility for architecture and application development for Global Research Informatics, defining the global information sharing architecture for pre-clinical drug safety and defining the strategic direction of research informatics. Before Roche, Mr. Moore was the Vice President of Product Development at Scimagix where he led the development of commercial software products in the areas of image management, image analysis, and proteomics. This included deployment of systems for CFR 11 validation in pharmaceutical environments. Mr. Moore worked for Oxford Molecular as Vice President of Cheminformatics before joining Scimagix. At Oxford Molecular he was responsible for worldwide cheminformatics business based on RS3 Discovery and related products. He had direct responsibility for the deployment and integration of cheminformatics systems at several major pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Mr. Moore earned his B.S. in Professional Chemistry from the University of Idaho.
Stephen Wang, Vice President of Software Engineering
Stephen Wang is the Vice President of software engineering at CeuticalSoft. Mr. Wang has 20 years of computer programming experience. He is an expert in Excel COM Add-In programming and also specializes in component-based applications and client/server database applications using various programming tools that include Java, Oracle, VB, C++, Access, Excel, ADO and PL/SQL. Prior to joining CeuticalSoft, Mr. Wang developed database applications for Pharmacopeia, Oxford Molecular Group, MLR Automation, CompuTek, and MDS.He was the lead programmer for two commercially successful applications and served on programming teams for several others. Mr. Wang holds an A.A. in Computer Science from San Francisco City College, a B.S. in Information Systems and a M.S. in Telecommunications from Golden Gate University.
Ron Rich, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Ron Rich has held several senior sales, marketing, acquisition and project management positions. His diverse experience ranges from Vice President with Pioneer Electronics, a Fortune 500 company, to founder of a small start-up publishing company. As Vice President of Pioneer, he supervised the launch of the Pioneer Laserdisc label and was involved in the original interactive programming group, OPA that included Philips, Pioneer and MCA and worked with the IBM interactive group. He helped set up several joint venture production agreements with international broadcasting companies, record labels, educational institutions and major museums. He launched and marketed a consumer publication for the consumer electronics and home video markets. Ron earned his BA in International Relations from Beloit College and he studied Systems Theory and Management Cybernetics in graduate school at University of Maryland.
